In fact, in the next flu season 2020-2021, there will be a co-circulation of influenza viruses and SARS-CoV-2: the symptoms between COVID-19 and Influenza are similar and it will be very difficult to distinguish the two pathologies. The importance of influenza vaccination is therefore emphasized, especially in high-risk people of all ages, to reduce access to treating doctors and emergency rooms.
