Flat steels for laser cutting
An appropriate optimised chemical analysis, and a flattening operation which reduces residual stresses, guarantee good flatness, with no elastic springback on final products after laser cutting.

Advanced steels
Newly installed, expressely designed cutting lines can process these innovative steels grades, mainly dedicated to the automotive industry, with yield points up to 1200 Mpa and tensile strengths up to 1400 Mpa.

Boron-Manganese temperable steels
They are hot and cold rolled steels, for structural and safety parts, mainly used in automotive. They are designed for quenching treatment after stamping. This type of steel is usually supplied with an aluminium coating in order to grant optimal corrosion resistance and to avoid heat oxidation during quenching process.

Iron-manganese steels
They are innovative materials at an experimental stage, that associate very high resistance and ductility (elongation 50%). They have been developed for automotive to achieve a reduction of the vehicles’ weight.

Thick gauge hot rolled coils with adherent scale
Based on particular chemical composition and after proper thermomechanical treatment, this steel features the presence of a layer of thin adherent scale giving good surface for painting and laser cutting without need for sandblasting and pickling operations.

Oil-free pickled
A dry coat film, free from toxic substances, can guarantee three-months protection against corrosion without any oiling. This film can be easily rinsed off with standard degreasing treatments, and it is a beneficial substitute for oil application in all circumstances where welding fumes, blanks sticking during destacking and environmental protection issues are to be considered.

"Mirror-like" roughness
Cold rolled steels with a mirror-like roughness (Ra < 0,15 microns) best suitable as a base material for high gloss coating applications and CHROMIUM - BRASS - GOLD plating. Used for production of cups and trophies, ornamental products, chromium plated parts.

"Sandwich" steels
They are multilayer materials composed by two steel sheets bound by a resin or by a thermoplastic polymer, as a result of a continuous colamination process. Two families of products are available: one with a noise reduction function, the other with a stiffness increase function and relevant weight reduction.
